This analogy used here can be deciphered in a way in which, a family business company, however strong their foundation is, and have a past history they can brag about, all of this doesn’t matter if one does not look towards the future. If an appropriate succession plan is not in place, issues would arise and cause discomfort among the family and eventually lead to trouble in the future. Therefore, a clear strategy must be followed towards the path of success.
